About KI Elite
KI Elite Basketball is an AAU basketball program built for athletes who are ready to grow, compete, and be challenged in a structured team environment.
Our program focuses on player development, discipline, fundamentals, teamwork, accountability, and competitive preparation. Athletes should expect serious coaching, consistent expectations, and a team culture centered on effort, growth, and respect.
Families should understand that AAU basketball requires commitment. Players are expected to attend practices, participate in games and tournaments, communicate professionally, and represent the program with pride on and off the court.

Our Coaches
Coach Ward
A passionate and disciplined basketball coach with a strong background in player development, team leadership, and game strategy. A graduate of University of Virginia, I bring a high-level understanding of the game rooted in structure, preparation, and competitive excellence.
My experience includes serving as an assistant basketball coach at the AAU level, where I supported practice planning, player development, and game execution. I've worked closely with athletes to strengthen fundamentals, improve decision-making, and build confidence in competitive environments.
As a former point guard, I bring a floor general's mindset to coaching, emphasizing leadership, court vision, communication, and situational awareness. I focus on developing smart, composed players who understand the game beyond their position.
My coaching philosophy centers on accountability, teamwork, and continuous growth. I strive to create a positive, competitive environment where athletes are challenged to reach their full potential both on and off the court.
